I just received an email watch five tennis player in the U.S., the following question: I could use a little help with a plan to get better. I am 5 players rated fourth in the U.S. and I would be fifth 5th For some reason, I can not find a tennis coach who will help with a comprehensive plan, they simply want to work on lines . Ideas? After tennis coaching in a great country club in Texas for over five years, I often faced the same question from our tournament players, as if they had reached a plateau and that everything on the field and work on their strokes was not easy among them, felt the next step. As a tennis coach, you must be flexible and able to analyze each player and create a plan for their own specific and individual needs. This means taking into account all the factors or variables to make a great player. The professional tennis players cover all areas and there is no reason why you can not do some of their career plans with a club-level players. As explained below, and cover specific areas of physical, mental, tactical and so on, will often see a coach who only sees their role as working neglect on stroke. So, for our fourth five players I with him focusing on some of the areas that will help the next step, to work without talking to not get vaccinated. Psychological Game Plan: Work on your game plan. In other words, you have your opponent out next? Do you have your own game plan ready so that you control the game you want to play? Do you have a backup copy in case your first plan does not work? Concentration: to say that to concentrate harder will not work. However, if you can be introduced in pregame, in-game and post-game routines then you will remain able to concentrate on the task. Between the points that you can relax your mind and bring your attention when you go on line to serve or return. The human mind can not focus continuously so it is useless to try to do so. Scout your opponent: If you go to a tournament, then take a look at your next opponent. Analyze and see how they play, what is their favorite picture, what are their weaknesses, they fight for the important points, they always go for their favorite photo on an important point, they have a big animal, and so on . Once you have this information, then go and create a plan to beat these players. Routines: a routine for the in-between points that allow you to control and composure when either winning or losing. Again, this way you can control how the game played. Goal Setting: I know you’ve heard it all, but I can not stress enough that once you write realistic goals on paper you will immediately feel that you have something to orientation and training. It’s a great feeling when you can hit a target and move to the next. Physics: Footwork: One of the most common problems I faced with club players they had bad trips, bad execution of their plans. Many coaches spend hours trying for hours to teach a player the correct stroke technique when a large portion of time is the real problem they have not properly put on the spot and then after the position leads the reader to Bad-technology. Integrating some specific exercises tennis travel we made in our eBooks are available. Strength: Maybe you do not have the physical strength to win for the few extra miles on your service. One way to more power to your right, without hitting long hours is used to add at the end is struck with the gym! If you are an experienced gym trainer develop a program of weight training to increase your strength and see your quick to serve and be a weapon! Speed: Maybe you’re not fast enough on the ground. To be negatively affected slow your strokes. You can not recover fast enough after pulling his position, perhaps not, put the ball in time, and therefore does not function properly. Speed is a weapon! Just ask Lleyton Hewitt or Rafael Nadal and you’ll soon see how speed is used to their advantage. Flexibility is often a neglected area. Besides the known benefits of preventing injuries, there are many direct benefits to improve performance on the field. One of my friends, Mark Wellington, trained Maria Sharapova for a couple of years, and he mentioned how he has always focused on flexibility and teaching Maria how to move on the ground. Having greater flexibility will help you after each shot fired again and again in position faster to the next. Endurance: Tennis is often described as “Anaerobic” sport due to the nature of reasonably short points. However, you need your aerobic system so that a high level of play on the right train at the vertical end. Often, a player can lose games, because they disappear. All hours worked on the hits will not help you if you run out of gas! Reflexes may: By improving your reflexes you are more competent at the network and improve other areas of the game, to serve back. Many players are simply not fast enough to act quickly. Consequently, they make mistakes on the return of service, or simply not have the ball in play Tactical: Have you ever played against someone who is more technically “inferior” to you in the sense that their features are not very effective, but they have always had a penchant for food? We all at some point in the career of tennis out! Some players are just a tough game. They know how to break your opponent “game of knowledge. You How to make a game to succeed, this plan is created. You can earn big points. So you have to do is analyze your own game plan. Do you have one when you press the court? You can hold a lottery plan, but for the coins? Here you can ask your coach to work with you. Spend an hour in the points and have your coach talk about how you construct your points. No stroke technique just a “Match Play” lesson. This gives you a perspective of an opponent, what they see in your game General Technology: Make sure you have the proper technique on all your plans. If you have a weakness visible, then you can count on your opponent, use this recording. Hit! Hit! Hit! I can not stress enough how important it is to play games. We can not simply practice or just the lessons and then wait, if in a competitive situation. You need to play more games and you create a direct result more difficult game, more experience in dealing with various stakeholders and thus be able to see what areas you need to improve on when in a game. You might even have a friend use questionnaires to match your game and then after, Scout, you can see what areas exactly you need to work. Do you play a game and not just a practice player! When I coached competitive ladies teams, I tried a lot of my exercises are built around “live ball” or “game like” drills rather than feeding exercises. The more points based on drilling the more comfortable you’ll be in a real game because to play this unpredictable game that exercises do not include the predictable ball fed by the simulation of a coach. Practice Partners: Train with players better than you! If you are fourth 5 – You always play with 4. 5 players? If so, and you want to get up 5 fifth, then go out and play with the best players, which contributes to the level of your game is. If your partner does not insist that you practice hard enough you could find a new one. Join a drill session that has these better players. You will soon be forced to raise the level of your game to compete with these guys. Many clubs have a workout Saturday morning, the group of men. You can ask your club coach, which could further drill sessions join. Variety: If you use the same players all the time, then the practice of a size and be used to their style of play Unfortunately, if you’re in a tournament and face a very different style of play, you do not know how to play. So you can go there and so many different players as you play. Some of the same level as you and some better quality on the fifth 5. Consistency: Way too often matches are lost by players too many errors straightforward. Firstly, a strong player to become consistent, then work on the big shots. When you hit the error with simple and continuous, as you never expect to win? Forcing your opponent to beat you. Reduce your errors by making the shot selection. Big Shot: coherence time you have developed and then you only need to beat a stroke of “big” players than May 5. Ideally, a large department or a big forehand working. can also be used to develop a great kick to be used as a weapon. A Big Shot will intimidate the opponent. Drills used: When training ball or match play live exercises. The specific objectives of each session, then use our GSC drills to develop your strengths and improve the weakest areas. There are hundreds of new exercises in our books or our website, so use it! If your coach just wants all the time you will not reach your full potential to feed. Choose exercises that are based on the game and simulation game point play. The transition into real matches will be much easier for you. Abstract: Improving on the following areas: Game Plans Routines Improve the appearance “mental” in the game Concentration Goal Setting Play more games Improve shooting technique Play against different players Improve the speed, strength, agility, reflexes and movements Improving consistency Establish a Big Shot Join a league for an extra match practice more Thurs Add more photos to be used (eg slice backhand, kick or Drop Shot) Scout future opponents to get a jump on Play with the best players that you increase your level Find a great training partner with similar goals for you The beauty about the game of tennis, there is always something to work. The difficult part is when you lose your time on bad things. Are you a player match or a practice player? It is easy to analyze a review of the whole game and then each region. When I worked with the best athletes in sports medicine, I would have to conduct what we called a “needs assessment” that perform simple check each field with the athletes and the sport concerned. Then develop a plan to improve every aspect or variable. Good luck and take control of your own destiny!
